Did the injury claims compensation culture ever exist
As far back as 1998 even the largest news organisations were reporting that Britain had a compensation culture' where injury claims in the UK where apparently getting out of hand .
In 2005 national reports were being published that a 'culture of fear' existed in the UK amongst employers and general public alike who were petrified about being sued for one reason or another. In 2000 the bbc news website even reported on a story where a former employee sued for compensation against their former employer for not providing a job reference. The employee actually received £195,000 in compensation, maybe injury claims in the UK can be lucrative.
The fact is there has never been any substantial evidence to support the compensation claims culture in the UK. It appears there was always a pre-emption, if not air of caution that the UK was going to instinctively follow the US attitude toward claiming compensation.
Everyone believed in the phrase 'accidents will happen, and someone can pick up the tab'. The reality is this culture never actually came to fruition and now there is a regulatory body for claims companies in the form of the Ministry of Justice, it appears sense and sensibility is returning to Britain.
The fact remains if you have been involved in an accident that was the result of someone else's actions then you should be entitled to pursue a justifiable claim for injury compensation and the likes of Talk Once are an ideal way for you to get the financial compensation you deserve.
